When a loved one dies by suicide, the pain and confusion it leaves behind can be overwhelming. At the Mary O’Gara Foundation, we understand the importance of postvention, the critical process of supporting individuals and communities affected by suicide. By providing the right resources and support, we can help those grieving to heal and prevent further tragedies.

Postvention refers to the actions taken to support the community after someone dies by suicide. Good postvention support can help people to grieve and recover and can be a critical element of preventing further suicides from happening.
